The last two games for Washington have come on the road, and both held major significance when it came to must-win situations that would keep the playoff hopes alive. In both games, Washington seemingly stepped up to the occasion when it came to their uniform choice, going with a white-on-white look that fans had been asking for for years, and it paid off both times with two victories.
Now that they’re back at home, Washington is continuing to switch it up, this time going with a burgundy-on-burgundy look that will hopefully hold the same power. If it does, then we can say for sure that the mantra of ‘Look good, feel good, play good’ might have some real legs in Washington.
