It is a place that has been visited by loads of people over the years, including different generations of the same families but Washington's AMF Bowling is now looking VERY different thanks to a huge £200,000 makever.
On Thursday night, the bowling alley at The Galleries held a VIP launch event to celebrate its new identity as Hollywood Bowl, following its six figure makeover right in time for Bank Holiday weekend.
Hosted by everyone’s favourite Hollywood actress, ‘Marilyn’, guests celebrated in true L.A fashion as they popped bottles of bubbly and helped Hollywood Bowl Group to celebrate its most recent makeover of one of its 60 centres.
The latest-generation Hollywood Bowl is complete with 26 state-of-the-art lanes and iconic American décor. Guests looking for the star’treatment can also take advantage of the exclusive VIP lanes available at the Washington centre.

In addition to the upgraded lanes, guests can also treat themselves to a range of tasty American-style classics such as gourmet burgers and hot dogs, delicious freshly made shakes, and signature desserts from the Hollywood Diner.
The centre’s impressive amusement area has also been transformed and now features industry-leading games such as Space Invaders, Mario Kart, Tomb Raider 65”, Halo and Joker Air Hockey.
There is also the opportunity to ‘Play for Prizes’, where visitors can win tickets on their favourite games and exchange them for a range of fun prizes.
