Jack Del Rio — it's too early to rule Chase Young out. They still have time to see how he does. #WashingtonFootball

A report came out on Wednesday morning that showed Washington rookie DE Chase Young suffered a minor groin strain in last Sunday’s loss to the Cleveland Browns, which took him out of the contest in the first half.
A report from NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport showed that Young would be week-to-week going forward, but he is unlikely to play this weekend against the Baltimore Ravens.
According to Washington’s DC Jack Del Rio, however, it is too early for them to make any determinations, and there might still be a slim chance that Young can suit up this weekend. With HC Ron Rivera absent on Wednesday due to treatment for his cancer, Del Rio’s word is all we have on this matter at the time, but it’s something to watch going forward.
