The Atlanta Falcons are coming off their first win of the season after defeating the New York Giants in Week 3. Now, the Falcons return home to Atlanta to host the Washington Football Team.
Washington is coming off an embarrassing 43-21 loss to the Buffalo Bills, where its defense continued to struggle.
Now, these two teams are set to clash in Week 4, and Washington is the early favorite, according to Tipico Sportsbook.
Tipico has listed Washington as a 1.5-point favorite, with an over/under of 47.5.
Washington is coming off an NFC East title, while the Falcons are clearly in rebuilding mode. Atlanta does still have former MVP Matt Ryan at quarterback and one of the best wide receivers in the NFL in Calvin Ridley. So, the Falcons can score points.
This game could resemble Washington’s Week 2 game against the Giants. Atlanta was allowing 40 points per game in its first two games, before scoring just 17 in Week 3. But most importantly, the Falcons picked up their first win.
Washington’s defense hasn’t stopped anyone all season.
