Washington goes offensive tackle in Charles Davis’ first mock draft

Charles Davis is one of the best analysts in the business. Davis, who works both as a game analyst for CBS and a studio analyst for the NFL Network, is also excellent in providing information on the NFL draft.

So, when Davis drops a mock draft, he puts time and effort into where he projects players. Davis understands the strengths and weaknesses of every team.

What direction does Davis go in his first mock draft for the Washington Football Team?

Davis has WFT choosing Virginia Tech offensive tackle Christian Darrisaw at No. 19 overall. Washington fans should certainly be happy with this selection, and it has been a popular projection over the last two months.

The 6-foot-4, 320-pound Darrisaw has everything you look for in a left tackle. While he isn’t considered the top prospect in the class at his position, some have him behind Penei Sewell as the No. 2 offensive tackle.

There is real skepticism if he will even be available at No. 19. Teams like the Los Angeles Chargers and Minnesota Vikings could look to select Darrisaw inside the top 15.

The first round of the 2021 NFL draft is now just 12 days away so we don’t have much longer to see Washington’s first pick.
