Washington and the NFL world remember Sean Taylor, 13 years after his death

While the Washington Football Team is coming off one of the biggest wins that the franchise has had in quite some time, there is a somber feeling on this Friday, while everyone reflects and remembers the life of the late, great Sean Taylor, who was murdered 13 years ago today.

On November 27, 2007, Taylor was shot by armed robbers while trying to protect his family, and he later passed away. Taylor was entering the prime of his career and becoming the greatest safety to play the game. He was beloved by fans, teammates, and coaches. His untimely death stopped what would have been a Hall of Fame career, and left us all wonder what could have been.

On this day, the NFL world as a whole mourns the loss of a legend.
