Washington adds two more picks in 2021 NFL draft after trade with Eagles

The Washington Football Team finally made a trade in the 2021 NFL trade.

On the team’s official Twitter, Washington announced it had acquired a sixth-round pick, No. 225 overall, and a seventh-round pick, No. 240 overall, in the 2021 NFL trade.

The trade was with NFC East rival Philadelphia. As a result, the Eagles will receive a fifth-round selection in the 2022 NFL draft.

The trade gives the Football Team two more picks in this draft, giving them four total in the sixth and seven rounds. Washington previously had two selections in the seventh round.

Washington obviously has either specific players in mind or a position. It will be interesting to see what the team adds in the final two rounds of the NFL draft.
