Was that the worst miss of all time?

Scotland failed to beat Norway at Hampden in their World Cup qualifier – but they should have won. Gary Naysmith laid a perfect ball across the face of the Norweigian goal three yards out, giving Chris Iwelumo the chance to mark his debut with an easy tap-in. However, Iwelumo managed to screw the ball wide. It was an "effort" which very much put the "T ALMIGHTY" into Chris.

Was that the worst miss of all time? We're saying yes, but perhaps you think Diego Forlán's howler for Manchester United against Juventus was more ridiculous.

Maybe Peter van Vossen's howler against Celtic in an Old Firm derby for Rangers floats your boat.

Or is Ronnie Rosenthal's classic for Liverpool against Aston Villa still the mother of them all?

So what do you think? Is Iwelumo's miss now the worst of all time, or is there a more deserving recipient of your scorn?
