Was Meghan Markle's choice of royal birth a brave tribute to the Queen

Meghan Markle gave birth to her baby son in the home she shares with husband Prince Harry .

The Duchess of Sussex opted to stay at Frogmore Cottage when she went into labour.

The 37-year-old had wanted her labour to be as natural as possible and in the days before the birth she was said to be "happy and relaxed".

Harry was at his wife's side throughout the birth and her mum, Doria Ragland, was also at their home in Windsor.

Meghan is believed to have shunned the Lindo Wing, where both her husband and his brother, Prince William, were born.
