Was Klay Thompson’s foot out of bounds late in key Game 5 play?

There’s a piece of game tape from late in the Golden State Warriors’ Game 5 win over the Houston Rockets that fans are focused on.

With 18.5 seconds left and the Warriors up three, Klay Thompson received an inbounds pass and pushed up court and he eventually got the ball back by the three-point line. The Rockets weren’t appearing to foul, opting to attempt to force a turnover instead. James Harden and Chris Paul had Thompson cornered, yet the Dubs guard somehow got a desperation pass off, there was a mad scramble for the loose ball and Thompson eventually dropped in a layup to put the game away for good.

But was Thompson out of bounds while he was being double-teamed before he let go of the ball?

Fans thought this should have been reviewed, and perhaps that would have given the ball and a chance at a game-tying shot to the Rockets:
