
Call of Duty: Warzone’s weapon meta is shifting again with season four, as a new round of weapon buffs and nerfs aims to keep a level battlefield.
Raven Software has made early balance updates to make sure existing weapons don’t get completely overshadowed by the newly introduced LC10 SMG and FFAR 1 assault rifle, both of which are shaping up to be serious powerhouses (well, new weapons have always been like that).

Black Ops 6 weapons have been fine-tuned to keep things balanced across the board.
LMGs have been reworked to make them more dependable for long-range fights, though they’re still not quite as effective as ARs in the mid-range game. SMGs now pack a bit more range, too, making them a more viable pick overall. ARs, on the other hand, got a bullet velocity boost, so hitting shots at mid to long distances should feel smoother.
One standout change is the buff to AMR Mod 4. It’s been enhanced to guarantee a one-shot headshot at its maximum damage range. That puts it in contention with the HDR as the top-tier sniper in season four.
