Warzone’s Pacific-themed WWII map ‘Caldera’ has been delayed along with the launch of Season 1 for that game and Call Of Duty: Vanguard.
Fortunately, the delay is only by a few days. Vanguard owners will still have access 24 hours early as well.
Now, leakers have discovered the key artwork for the first season of the overhauled battle royale, which brings the game in line with Sledgehammer’s WWII Vanguard timeline and, perhaps more importantly, game engine and mechanics. The Warzone you’ve been playing the last two years will be a very different came this December.

As you can see, there are three new Operators coming to Season 1. At least one of these will be in the Battle Pass with one or two as Item Shop bundles.
Their names are reportedly Anna, Lewis, and Francis. The guns they’re holding are reportedly the BSA Welgun, M1944 Hyde Carbine, and the PTRS-41 Sniper Rifle.
Along with the massive overhaul of Warzone, Activision will be implementing its Ricochet anti-cheat system for both that game and Vanguard at Season 1’s launch. Players can also expect new Vanguard maps and modes at the beginning of the season and at the midseason update, as well as new Zombies content.
Activision remains in some turmoil in the runup to season 1, as pressure from employees, investors and platform holders like Sony and Microsoft is mounting against long-time CEO Bobby Kotick. Recent reports claim that Kotick was aware of discriminatory practices at the company and did nothing to curtail them.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Kotick told colleagues he would “consider leaving the company” if he’s unable to speedily handle the harassment and discrimination issues at the company.
