Advice and prediction
In part one of the dance between the Suns and Warriors, the teams competed in a back and forth battle for three quarters. Even with Devin Booker getting injured, the Suns were able to pace the Warriors’ offensive attack behind a stout defensive effort. While the Warriors went cold in the final frame, the Suns took advantage.
Mikal Bridges led the Suns’ defensive attack with a fierce effort against Steph Curry. The reigning Western Conference Player of the Month tallied a season-low 12 points on 4-of-21 shooting from the field. The chances of Curry performing at that level for the second consecutive game feels unlikely. After two days off, Curry will have something to prove when the Suns come to Chase Center.
With the Suns entering the second leg of a back-to-back without Booker and Curry eyeing a bounce-back night, the Warriors -6.5 appears to be the bet to keep an eye on.
If Curry can get back to his MVP caliber play against Bridges and the Suns, over 215.5 is another option to pay attention to during Friday’s game in San Francisco.
