On Tuesday, the reigning and back-to-back champion Golden State Warriors take the next step in their quest to win a third-straight NBA Finals. After defeating the Los Angeles Clippers (4-2) and Houston Rockets (4-2) in the first two rounds, Golden State takes its talents into a Western Conference Finals battle versus the Portland Trail Blazers.
Portland advanced to the conference finals by defeating the Oklahoma City Thunder in the first round (4-1) and the Denver Nuggets this past Sunday in the conference semifinals (4-3).

Back-to-back and reigning Finals MVP Kevin Durant will miss Game 1 as he continues to recover from a calf strain suffered in the Houston series. He also is unlikely to play in Game 2 on Thursday. But hopefully the Warriors that can suit up will hold things down until Durant returns to the lineup.
