Warriors struggle in 108-103 loss to Jazz

SALT LAKE CITY _ The Warriors fell to the Utah Jazz, 108-103, on Wednesday because of something that usually is not a problem for this All-Star laden team.

The Warriors (21-11) struggled shooting the ball to snap a two-game winning streak. Warriors veteran forward Andre Iguodala missed an open 3-pointer on the team's final possession. Though Warriors guard Stephen Curry grabbed the rebound, officials determined on a replay review that the ball went off of his hands. Utah guard Donovan Mitchell then iced the game with a pair of foul shots on the final play.

Before those last moments, the Warriors struggled to score. Yes, Curry had 32 points while shooting 12 of 21 from the field and 5 of 9 from 3-point range. But the Warriors shot only 40 percent from the field and 32.3 percent from 3-point range.

Warriors forward Kevin Durant had 30 points on 10 of 23 shooting, but he struggled in the first three quarters with a combined 6 of 18 mark from the field. Warriors guard Klay Thompson had 12 points while shooting only 3 of 12 from the field and 0 of 4 from 3-point range.

The Jazz shot only 37 of 93 from the field, including Mitchell (5 of 26) and Ricky Rubio (0 of 8) struggling in the backcourt. But the Jazz compensated with a combined 16-for-42 mark from 3-point range (38.1 percent). Utah's Joe Ingles (20 points), Rudy Gobert (17) and Mitchell (17) scored in double figures.
