Warriors' Steph Curry out vs. Hornets after 'not feeling well'

Warriors guard Stephen Curry did not play in Charlotte Saturday against the Hornets because he was "not feeling well," the team announced.

The absence was not related to coronavirus protocols. Curry was pulled minutes prior to tip off and replaced in the lineup by guard Mychal Mulder.

This is the third time in the last four years that Curry missed playing in his hometown of Charlotte after missing most of last season recovering from a broken hand. He played in Charlotte in 2018 but missed the trip in 2017 with another injury.

Curry, in the midst of an MVP-caliber campaign, is averaging 29.9 points on 48.6% shooting (42.3% from 3-point range) and 6.2 assists in 34.1 minutes per game this season.
