Warriors star forward Draymond Green agrees to contract extension

It didn’t take long after joining Klutch Sports for Draymond Green to sign a major contract, keeping him with the Golden State Warriors for much longer.

Rich Paul told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowsi that the three-time NBA Champion agreed to a four-year extension worth $100 million, to stay with Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry in the Bay.

Green, who recently left The Wasserman Group and agent B.J. Armstrong, said that joining Klutch was ‘the right move’ for him as he saw them as a ‘cutting edge’ company.

Just a few weeks ago, the reach of Klutch Sports expanded greatly when they were acquired by Hollywood talent juggernaut United Talent Agency. UTA bought a considerable part of Klutch to make the agency’s first foray into the sports world, but Rich Paul is still the brains behind the Klutch operation.

Also, as far as the NBA is concerned, Green coming off the market makes an already lackluster 2020 class of free agents lose a little bit more shine.
