Warriors release 2019-20 regular season radio and television broadcast schedule

The Golden State Warriors officially tip off their 2019-20 NBA season on Monday, Sept. 30, with the team’s annual Media Day. But before the team’s stars and coaches go before the scrum, the organization has some housekeeping matters to tend to, like releasing its television and radio broadcast schedule.

Although general manager Bob Myers was not asked about the television schedule, a reporter asked Jordan Poole about the expanded coverage in Europe, to which the rookie praised the “global diversity” of the league and its ability to bring in players like Alec Smailagic.

The Warriors play their first preseason game on Saturday, Oct. 5, against the Los Angeles Lakers on TNT. The Warriors regular season begins on Oct. 24 against the Los Angeles Clippers on TNT.

Warriors fans will have to wait to see big man Willie Cauley-Stein, though. Myers announced during his Media Day segment that Cauley-Stein suffered a left foot strain and will miss all of October.
