Warriors News: Andrew Bogut officially signs with Golden State

After the rumors and the waiting, Andrew Bogut’s return to the Golden State Warriors is finally official according to a team press release.

Bogut is joining the Warriors after playing a season in Australia’s National Basketball League, where he took home the league’s MVP and DPOY honors. Bogut averaged a double-double and led the league in rebounding with 11.6 per game.

Bogut’s original stint with the Warriors lasted from 2012 through the 2016 season, winning a title with the team in 2015.

Bogut will play a minor role off the bench and is an insurance policy for the Warriors frontcourt should the team suffer any more injuries.
