Warriors guard Stephen Curry listed as probable for Game 2 vs Pelicans

OAKLAND, Calif. _ Warriors guard Stephen Curry (MCL sprain) is listed as probable for Game 2 of the Western Conference semifinals against the New Orleans Pelicans, according to Warriors coach Steve Kerr.

"I'd be very surprised if he didn't play (Game2)," Kerr said following Monday's practice.

While most of the team took Sunday off, Curry participated in a scrimmage with players who have played low minutes in the playoffs. Players in the scrimmage included Jordan Bell, Quinn Cook, JaVale McGee and Zaza Pachulia, according to a source. While Curry played, Kerr looked on from a perch inside the team's downtown Oakland facility as he prepared for Game 2 with his staff.

"He came out well," Kerr said of the workout. "He's feeling good today."

While Curry won't be on a minutes restriction, Kerr wouldn't reveal whether the two-time MVP will start or come off the bench Tuesday evening, keeping with his playoff policy of not revealing the lineup prior to games.

Curry has been out since March 23, when Warriors center JaVale McGee fell on his left knee during the third quarter of a 106-94 win over the Atlanta Hawks.
