Warriors' Green misses game vs. Nets in Brooklyn for birth of son

Draymond Green made two cross-country flights on Wednesday. The first, early in the day, was with the Warriors from Oakland to New York City. The second, later last night, was alone, zipping back from NYC to the Bay Area for the birth of his son.

"Whoa," Green said in a Snapchat post as he sat on the NYC runway.

Green will miss the Warriors game in Brooklyn on Thursday night and his status for Golden State's next two road games _ at Detroit on Friday and the finals rematch in Cleveland on Christmas _ are still to be determined.

Draymond Jamal Green Jr. was born at 3:55 a.m. PT on Thursday morning, per the Warriors.

Earlier this season, Steve Kerr said reserve forward Kevon Looney will start any game Green misses.
