Warriors get Steph Curry boost ahead of Rockets game

Steph Curry has been upgraded to probable for the Golden State Warriors game against the Houston Rockets on Sunday, Oct. 29. Curry was originally listed as questionable on the Warriors’ earlier injury report. Jonathan Kuminga remains listed as questionable for the game. Steve Kerr will likely alter his rotation and substitution patterns, with Moses Moody and rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis likely getting a bigger minutes load.

The Warriors will likely have Draymond Green back in their rotation, too. The veteran forward noted his potential return on Saturday, Oct. 28, during a post-practice media availability. Green has been absent from the Warriors rotation since spraining his ankle in the first week of training camp.

Despite the potential absence of Kuminga, the Warriors will still be favorites to secure a victory over the Rockets. Ime Udoka’s team has lost their first two games of the season and looks like a roster that’s still adjusting to a new offensive and defensive system.

Nevertheless, there is still a chance both players could suit up for the Warriors to give them their first game of the season with a full roster for Kerr to choose from.
