Warriors’ Draymond Green (personal reasons) out vs. Nuggets

To close out a tough stretch of road games early in the season, the Golden State Warriors will have to meet the defending champion Denver Nuggets. Heading to Denver means a date with two-time Most Valuable Player Nikola Jokic.

The Warriors will have to find a way to slow down Jokic without a key piece on the defensive side of the ball. According to Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Draymond Green is out for Wednesday’s game due to personal reasons.

Gary Payton II is also listed as questionable due to an illness.

With Green out, the Warriors will count on Jonathan Kuminga, rookie Trayce Jackson-Davis and Dario Saric alongside Kevon Looney in the frontcourt on Wednesday evening in Denver.
