After dropping a heartbreaking loss to the Portland Trail Blazers in the first game of a back-to-back, it won’t get any easier in the second leg of the Golden State Warriors road swing. With the red-hot Phoenix Suns waiting to close out a stellar first half of the season, Steph Curry and Draymond Green won’t be on the floor for the Warriors.
Prior to the All-Star break, the Warriors ruled both Curry and Green out against Phoenix for a rest day. Adding to Golden State’s light rotation, Kelly Oubre Jr. is listed as questionable for the contest. Oubre Jr. was sidelined during the Warriors’ loss to the Trail Blazers on Wednesday due to a sprained wrist.
To avoid their first three-game losing streak of the season, the Warriors will lean on players like Andrew Wiggins, James Wiseman and Eric Paschall against the Suns.
