For the final tune-up before the start of the 2020-21 season, the Warriors will travel to Sacramento for their preseason finale against the Kings.
After a gritty late comeback from the Warriors, Sacramento’s Kyle Guy drilled a buzzer-beating 3-pointer to save the Kings’ 114-113 preseason win over Golden State.
Although the Warriors dropped the game, Steph Curry scored a preseason-high 29 points on 11-of-21 shooting from the field in 28 minutes. Before the Warriors open the season against the Brooklyn Nets on Dec. 22, the former two-time Most Valuable Player will have another opportunity to shake off the rust against the Kings.
While Curry, Kelly Oubre Jr. and Andrew Wiggins will likely be on the floor against the Kings, the Warriors will be without James Wiseman and Draymond Green for the third consecutive preseason game.
