Warriors assign rookie Moses Moody to G League Santa Cruz

On Tuesday against the Memphis Grizzlies, Golden State Warriors rookie guard Moses Moody tallied two points on 1-of-2 shooting from the field with a rebound and assists in seven minutes.

Following Tuesday’s loss in Memphis, the Warriors assigned the No. 14 overall pick in the 2021 NBA draft to their G League affiliate in Santa Cruz. Prior to playing against the Grizzlies, Moody joined Santa Cruz for a road contest against the Memphis Hustle.

Against the Hustle, Moody popped off for 37 points on 13-of-23 shooting from the field to match his season-high. The Arkansas Razorback product added three boards, two steals and a block in 36 minutes.
