It didn’t take long at all for the shots at Drake to start rolling in.
The Raptors superfan and Toronto-based rapper is expected to be in attendance for Thursday’s Game 3 of the NBA Finals at Oracle Arena. Considering the back-and-forth banter between the Warriors players and Drake, it was obvious that the Warriors would have something in store for Drake in Oakland.
It started during pregame warmups.
As Steph Curry was going through shootaround, Pusha T’s “The Story of Adidon” was blaring on the arena speakers. “The Story of Adidon” is, of course, the Drake diss track that fueled the rap beef back in 2018.
This wasn’t exactly subtle.
It may be a year-old feud, but the Pusha T jokes have been coming in strong during these NBA playoffs. Mallory Edens, the daughter of Bucks owner Wes Edens, wore a Pusha T shirt as she sat courtside during the Eastern Conference Finals.
Drake didn’t ignore it either because he responded to the shirt on Instagram.
