The Golden State Warriors will play their first home preseason game at the brand spankin’ new Chase Center against the Los Angeles Lakers on October 5. Historically, the Lakers have always been one of the Warriors biggest division rivals, and LeBron James has been the team’s biggest foe over the last half-decade.
The preseason game will mark the first time in nearly 40 years that a professional basketball game has been played in San Francisco.
The Warriors have been a staple in the city of Oakland for decades and are in their final season in The City. The Warriors are hoping to close out their final season at Oracle Arena with their fourth title in five years and their third in a row.
