Warriors prop Jamayne Taunoa-Brown and Newcastle's Phoenix Crossland are facing long stints on the sideline after they were charged with grade two crusher tackles out of Friday's game.
Taunoa-Brown is looking at a four-week NRL suspension if he fights and loses at the judiciary, with 40 carryover points to be added to the base penalty of 350 points.
An early guilty plea will see him miss three weeks.
The incident happened in the ninth minute of Friday's loss to the Knights when the Warriors prop landed on the shoulders of winger Hymel Hunt in a tackle.
Hunt appeared hurt and clutched the back of his neck but played on with the incident put on report.
Knights half Crossland has also been hit with a grade two charge for his second-minute tackle on David Fusitu'a that was not put on report in the win over at Gosford Stadium.
Should Crossland fight the charge at the judiciary and lose he will miss three weeks, but an early guilty plea will rub him out of the next two games against Wests Tigers and St George Illawarra.
It comes at a difficult time for the Knights with five-eighth options Kurt Mann and Blake Green both sidelined with injury.
Mann missed the round two win with a knee injury but could be cleared to play the Tigers in Newcastle on Sunday.
