Warrants against Dera head conspiracy linked to Punjab polls, will fight it out in court, says management

CHANDIGARH: The Management Committee of Dera Sacha Sauda on Wednesday claimed that the allegations against Dera chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Insan are baseless and the management will fight this out in courts.

While terming it to be deep rooted conspiracy, management said that all this is linked to assembly elections in Punjab.

"We will fight the legal battle against the production warrant," said a release issued by the committee of Dera Sacha Sauda.

Notably the development comes two days after the a court in Faridkot district had issued production warrants of Dera Head in the cases related to sacrilege incidents which occured in the 2015 in Faridkot district of Punjab.

Notably, Dera head is serving lifer in the Sunaria jail of Rohtak after he was found guilty of two cases of murder and one case of rape by the Panchkula’s CBI court.

"Guru ji Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh Ji Insan has nothing to do with the sacrilege incidents. Rather the allegations are part of deep rooted conspiracy against Dera head by the versted interests," the management said.

Guru ji respects all the religions and their sacred texts including Holy Gurubani and Shri Granth Sahib. Guru was among those who strongly condemned the incident by terming that as a grave sin, the release further said.

"In fact the Punjab assembly elections are approaching, due to which various allegations are being leveled against Dera Sacha Sauda, Pujya Guru ji and Devotee’s of Dera Sacha Sauda", the release said.

They said that all this is a well-planned conspiracy of selfish leaders, who want to defame Dera Sacha Sauda without any reason, said the management

Even CBI has already done all sort of scientific tests on Dera devotees in the sacrilege case and declared them innocent. The committee members expressed surprise that despite being given a clean chit by an agency of the country, said the management.
