Tesco Clubcard customers have been warned thousands of vouchers have now expired
The retailer's Clubcard loyalty scheme has been popular among shoppers for years, since it allows people to collect points which are turned into vouchers to spend in store.
Each point is worth 1p to spend at Tesco, so 500 points becomes a £5 Clubcard voucher, which Tesco sends out automatically four times a year, provided you have at least 150 points.

However, Tesco has seen thousands of Clubcard vouchers expire now September has arrived, reports BirminghamLive .
The supermarket giant had previously warned shoppers that they had until August 31 to use the vouchers.
The last batch of vouchers that have been granted an extension were due to expire in May this year, but shoppers can now use these until November.

For anyone unsure about when their coupon will last until, shoppers can check in stores so they don’t miss out.
Tesco Clubcard is the supermarket’s loyalty scheme which lets shoppers earn points as they spend in stores - these are then transferred into vouchers, depending on how many points you’ve built up.
Shoppers get one point for every £1 they spend in store and online, or one point for every £2 spent on fuel.
You can collect points through Tesco Bank and Tesco Mobile as well.
You need a minimum of 150 points to get any sort of voucher, which will be worth £1.50 to spend in Tesco - or save them up, and 500 points would be worth £5, for example.
Shoppers can also use Clubcard vouchers at a variety of other places, ranging from high street restaurants like Zizzi to Pizza Express.
