Warning to dog walkers after men seen acting suspiciously in Bolton park

Police have issued a warning to dog walkers after two men were seen acting suspiciously in a Bolton park.

The men, described as having Eastern European accents, approached a dog walker in Astley Bridge park and asked if he wanted to sell his dog.

They were also spotted taking pictures of other dogs in the area.

One man was described as being of stocky build, around 5ft 10 and had a beard.

The other was around 5ft 8 and of skinny build.

Officers say they were driving a white Mitsubishi flatbed truck with double wheels at the rear.
