A warning has been issued after strong 'Donald Trump' themed drugs were found circulation in Manchester. Ecstasy tablets containing high levels of synthetic contents have been discovered by scientists at Mandrake.
The project, which stands for Manchester Drug Analysis and Knowledge Exchange, is a Home Office accredited scheme which examines drugs in circulation. The project is based at Manchester Metropolitan University and is led by Dr Oliver Sutcliffe.
Warnings are issued if the substances seized are found to be particularly dangerous. Such a warning has been issued on Twitter over the 'Donald Trump' themed tablets.
The Mandrake account said: "Orange “Donald Trump” embossed #Ecstasy/#MDMA tablets, analytically confirmed, by @MANDRAKE_LAB, to contain high level of synthetic #cathinone #dipentylone (306 mg/tablet) circulating in #Manchester.
"If unwell please seek medical attention."
