A warning has been issued to drivers crossing the Erskine Bridge over high winds that are currently affecting driving conditions.
Traffic Scotland issued the alert asking drivers to use caution crossing the A898 Erskine Bridge this afternoon.
The Met Office weather forecast for the Glasgow confirms that wind gusts as high as 32mph are expected this afternoon.
The closure comes amid a yellow weather warning for ice and snow in the Glasgow and wider Strathclyde area.
The weather alert , which remains in place until 6pm this evening, predicts that a band of rain and heavy snow may lead to travel disruption across the country.
