A warning has been issued to Ayrshire parents after a child was approached by a person in a white van.
The incident, which is said to have taken place outside New Cumnock Primary, prompted a school to issue a warning.
The incident, which took place on Thursday, February 6, has been reported to police.

The school warned parents of the incident last week.
They tweeted: "It has been brought to my attention that a white van approached a pupil at a local school this afternoon.
"The information has been passed onto the police.
"Please be vigilant and have a stranger danger chat with your child. Thank you, Miss Donnelly."
Police confirmed that concerns about a white van approaching a pupil at New Cumnock Primary were reported on February 6 at 4pm.
