Warning issued after 'dangerously strong' pills found at Download Festival

A warning has been issued to Download Festival goers over dangerously strong pills.

Revellers at the Donington Park festival have been warned over MDMA pills, a pure form of ecstasy, that have been tested after being found at the festival.

They contain a dangerously high level of the drug, more than 200mg according to on site alerts, and pose a risk to anyone taking them.

An alert issued by the festival says: "Green / white Uber Eats and orange/white Sprite pills have been found onsite, onsite laboratory has identified them containing a dangerously high dosage of MDMA, value 200mg+.

"If you have taken these and are concerned or feeling unwell, please go immediately to medical or welfare."
