A warning has been issued after a van was crushed today after crashing into the back of lorry on the M6 motorway.
The crash, between a van and a lorry, happened between junction 26 and junction 25 and caused lane closures and heavy traffic.
It is reported that the driver of the van smashed into the back of a lorry that was waiting in stopped traffic.

Officers have confirmed that fortunately only minor injuries were reported.
The force shared a picture of the wrecked van as a warning for drivers to observe the road.
They also revealed that the driver of the white van has been reported for careless driving following the crash.
A spokesperson for Merseyside police' s road unit said: "Patrols dealt with a nasty rear end shunt early this morning on the M6.
"Driver collided into the rear of stationary traffic. Fortunately minor injury only.
"If this isn’t a reminder to observe the road ahead, I don’t know what is. Driver reported for careless driving."
