Warning airport staff strike could ‘ground planes and passengers’

  • Workers employed by Glasgow Airport Limited and Falck firefighters rejected a 3.6% pay increase, and Menzies Aviation workers turned down a 4.25% uplift.
  • Unite general secretary Sharon Graham stated the companies can afford better pay and conditions, accusing them of prioritising profits over fair wages.
