Warning after reports of man exposing himself near special school

A warning has been issued after a man was caught exposing himself near a special school in Trafford .

It is one of two suspicious incidents reported by staff at St John Vianney School in Firswood, Stretford , over the last week.

The first is said to have taken place on Thursday afternoon.

A man was seen behaving strangely outside the school on Rye Bank Road at around 2.25pm.

He was walking up and down the road 'as if he was drunk', then hid behind a tree.

When staff went out to investigate he walked away, but was spotted again half-an-hour later.

Then on Monday, at around 3.20pm, an 'elderly man' was seen walking town Rye Bank Road towards the school with his hands 'around his groin region' before exposing himself.

In both cases, the man was described as being 'shabbily dressed'.

Several neighbouring schools are understood to have sent messages to parents, warning them of the incidents.

St Antony's Catholic College in Urmston also shared the message on its Facebook page.

It read: "IMPORTANT MESSAGE.
