Warner felled by Hazlewood bouncer, immediately retires hurt

Australian vice-captain David Warner has been struck on the side of the neck by a Josh Hazlewood bouncer in an intra-squad match at Marrara Oval in Darwin.

The opener left the field immediately, unassisted after the painful blow, with team doctor Richard Saw alongside him.

Ice was applied to the area of the blow, and Warner appeared to be ok.

More to come.
