Warehouse raid unearths massive £10m haul of cocaine and heroin

A man from Aintree was charged after more than £10 million of drugs were seized at an industrial unit in north London.

Officers raided a warehouse in Enfield and discovered 109kg of cocaine and 15kg of heroin on Tuesday, April 27.

The drugs had a street value of £10,220,000.

The Organised Crime Partnership – a team of officers from the National Crime Agency and Metropolitan Police Service - spent months investigating the operation.

Three men have been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and remanded to appear at Wood Green Crown Court on May 17.

They are: David Owens, 61, of Preston, Lancashire (formerly of Aintree ), Antonio Monobianco, 42, of Wanstead, east London (formerly Enfield, north London) and Levi Howarth, 25, of Barnsley, South Yorkshire (formerly Wakefield).

Seven other men arrested in the same operation have been released under investigation.
