Director General of Police M. Mahender Reddy on Thursday launched the website of the Warangal Police Commissionerate, http://warangalpolice.telangana.gov.in, through a video conference from his office in Hyderabad.
Warangal Police Commissioner Tarun Joshi and a host of policemen participated in the inaugural programme held in virtual mode. Mr. Joshi and IT core team inspector Naresh explained the salient features of the website.
The website with impressive user-friendly layout contains useful information pertaining to the organisational structure, wings of the Warangal police commissionerate, citizen services, road safety and cyber crime awareness besides an array of features to check petition, e-challan and passport verification status, among others.
It has a dedicated section “Women’s corner” to empower women with access to useful information pertaining to District Legal Services Authority, Women Protection Officers, Shelter Home, and various other services.
DCPs Venkatalakshmi, Ashok Kumar and Sitaram, Additional DCPs Vaibhav Gaikwad, Pushpa Reddy, Bheem Rao and Sanjeev, were present.
