War Horse by Michael Morpurgo – review

I liked this book a lot because Joey has a lot of owners and they all have different attitudes. It was good at the end because he ended up living with Albert once again but sad because Maizie didn’t give him a single one of her pasties! It is also good because it was written through the horse’s mind the whole time. This book can also be sad because there are lots of people dying and the sound of guns just filled my head.

In this book it teaches you a lot about how the war is set and how we are so lucky to not have to fight in a horrid war. The main character in this book is Joey, a tall brown horse who has a lot of owners. I liked this book because it was told through the horse’s mind the whole time instead of the author’s. It was as if it was a horse’s diary!
