Wanted star Tom Parker says brain tumour has shrunk 'significantly'

Wanted star Tom Parker said his brain tumour has "significantly reduced" following treatment.

The dad-of-two shared an update on his condition with his followers, as he vowed to keep fighting the condition.

Taking to Instagram Tom said: "SIGNIFICANT REDUCTION. These are the words I received today and I can’t stop saying them over and over again."

He shared a picture with his wife Kelsey and their two young children, explaining he was "responding well" to treatment - reports Mirror Online.

Tom, 32, said: "I had an MRI scan on Tuesday and my results today were a significant reduction to the tumour and I am responding well to treatment. Everyday I’m keeping on the fight to shrink this b*****d!

"I can’t thank our wonderful NHS enough. You’re all having a tough time out there but we appreciate the work you are all doin g on the front line.

"To my amazing wife @being_kelsey who has literally been my rock. My babies- I fight for you every second of every day.

"Friends, family and everyone on this journey with me- you have got me through my darkest days.

"To everyone on here- your love, light and positivity have inspired me. Every message has not been unnoticed they have given me so much strength.

"This journey is a rollercoaster that’s for sure. Today is a f**king good day."

On October 12 2020, Tom shared the news of his stage four cancer with fans.

He wrote: "There’s no easy way to say this but I’ve sadly been diagnosed with a brain tumour and I’m already undergoing treatment.

"We decided, after a lot of thought, that rather than hiding away and trying to keep it a secret, we would do one interview where we could lay out all the details and let everyone know the facts in our own way."

He went on: "We are all absolutely devastated but we are gonna fight this all the way. We don’t want your sadness, we just want love and positivity and together we will raise awareness of this terrible disease and look for all available treatment options.

"It’s gonna be a tough battle but with everyone’s love and support we are going to beat this. Tom and Kelsey xxx."
