Wanted: Police launch hunt for East Ayrshire man just released from prison

Police Scotland are seeking help from the public to trace 29-year-old Steven Malarkey who has breached the terms of his licence after being released from HMP Shotts.

Malarkey who was last seen on Saturday, April 20, is known to frequent the areas of Ayrshire and Greater Glasgow.

Malarkey is described as white, around 6ft of medium build with brown hair

Any information regarding the current whereabouts or movements of Steven Malarkey should be passed on to police.

Inspector Colin Shearer, Kilmarnock Police Station said: “We are currently looking to trace Steven Malarkey, who has breached his licence conditions since being released from HMP Shotts, and we are appealing to anyone who has any information regarding his whereabouts to come forward and contact us.”

Kilmarnock Police Station can be contacted by calling 101, alternatively Crimestoppers can be contacted on 0800 555 111, where anonymity can be maintained.”
