Wanted man with Forest tattoo might be in Nottinghamshire, police say

A man wanted on recall to prison may be in Nottinghamshire, police have said.

South Yorkshire Police are looking for Glenn John Jackson, who officers say has breached the terms of a temporary license earlier this month.

The force said the 40-year-old, wanted on recall to HMP Hatfield, has "several facial scars" and a Nottingham Forest tattoo.

Nottinghamshire Police have shared an appeal on behalf of the South Yorkshire force to locate Jackson.

Officers in Nottinghamshire said: "He is thought to be in the Nottinghamshire area, specifically Edwalton and Sneinton."

A spokesman for South Yorkshire Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing to trace him, however officers are now asking for anyone with information about his whereabouts to come forward.

"Jackson is described as white, 5ft 11ins with brown short hair and a medium build.

"He has several facial scars. He has ‘True to da game’ tattooed on his left arm, ‘Forest’ on the right side of his neck and ‘Danielle’, ‘Sonya’ and ‘Kelsey’ tattooed on his right arm.

"He is believed to have links to Nottinghamshire.

"Have you seen him? Do you know where he might be?

"If you see him, please do not approach him and instead call 999.

"If you have information which may help us to trace him, please call 101 quoting incident number 646 of 21 September."

Alternatively, Crimestoppers can be contacted anonymously on 0800 555 111.
