Wanted man who 'could be violent if approached' previously ruptured woman's liver

Police have warned a wanted man could be violent if he is approached.

Paul Ross, is described as white, 5ft 9in tall, of slim build, with ginger hair and blue eyes and has links to Speke. The now 45-year-old previously ruptured a woman's liver in a cocaine and alcohol-fuelled attack back in 2016.

Ross repeatedly stamped on the victim's ribs and the horrific attack was heard over the phone by an operator with a company which monitors electronic tags. He was jailed for nine years for the previous offence.
