Police have warned you to call 999 if you see this man.
Phillip Wright is believed to be in Bristol and is wanted on warrant for failing to attend court last month.
The 43-year-old of no fixed address was due to attend Bristol Magistrates Court on 11 December.
He is charged with assault and a public order offence.
However, he failed to turn up and a warrant has now been issued by police in his absence.
Mr Wright is a white man, about 6ft tall and of slim build. He has ginger hair and blue eyes with a distinct scar across the right side of his face.
He is known to frequent central Bristol and the Cheltenham Road area of the city, police said.
An Avon and Somerset Constabulary spokesperson said: "We’d appeal to anyone spotting Phillip Wright not to approach him but call 999, quoting reference 5219285488."
