Wanted man could be in Bristol - call 999 if you see him

Police have launched a public appeal to track down a wanted man who could be in Bristol.

Mason Hicks, 29, is said to have links to south Bristol and Keynsham, but is known to travel to other parts of the city.

Avon and Somerset Police say Hicks is wanted on recall to prison, but did not provide further details.

Members of the public have been urged to call 999 if they see him, and not to approach him.

The force said he has also recently spent time elsewhere in the South West, in Plymouth.

He is described as white, about 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build.

Hicks has dark brown hair, brown eyes and is usually clean shaven.

A statement from police urged: "Anyone who sees Hicks should not approach him and call 999 and give reference number 5220209450.

"Or, if you know of his whereabouts, call 101 and give the call-handler the same reference code."

It is the second wanted appeal police have shared in as many days.

Yesterday (Tuesday) they refreshed their call for information about Russell McPhee, who is also known to frequent south Bristol.

Police also want people to call 999 if they see him and not to approach him.
