Want to save Big Splash? Here's how you can help this Saturday

Anyone who wants to save the Big Splash water park at Macquarie is being urged to be there on Saturday at 3pm.

The Save Big Splash group will create a human circle around the water park with as many supporters asked to assemble at the site at 3pm on Saturday.

The owner of the water park has indicated he wants to demolish the slides, taking away the main attraction.

The owner must also reopen the 50-metre pool to the public by November 1 but Save Big Splash is not convinced the pool will be open for the long-term.

Save Big Splash also wants the government to oppose any development application that comes through to demolish the slides.
